The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, ranked #20 in the United States for Cardiology, and Heart and Vascular Surgery by U.S. News and World Report, is seeking an outstanding noninvasive ABIM-Board eligible/certified cardiologist. Candidate will be superior in all aspects of noninvasive Cardiology, and capable of teaching Cardiology fellows, Internal Medicine residents, and medical students through didactic lectures and participation in various multidisciplinary conferences. Recent cardiology fellowship graduates are welcome to apply. Applicants should meet these qualifications: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) or foreign equivalent Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited cardiology fellowship program Board Certified in Internal Medicine with an unrestricted license to practice medicine in Texas. Board certified/eligible in cardiovascular disease Cardiology Division, Facilities & Equipment: Nationally recognized Cardiology Division with more than 100 faculty members that fosters a collegial and collaborative environment with a focus on faculty career development. Sites of practice include: William P. Clements Jr. University Hospital, a state-of-the-art facility designed for patient comfort and well-being where complex tertiary and quaternary care is provided which incorporates advanced technology to enhance multidisciplinary collaboration. Parkland Memorial Hospital, Dallas Countyxe2x80x99s exemplary urban public hospital , provides outstanding diagnosis and treatment for virtually every type of condition or disease. Clinical Heart and Vascular Center, where ambulatory care at UT Southwestern is delivered in a collaborative manner with our allied health care team. A diverse array of specialized services in cardiovascular disease are available to support a general cardiologistxe2x80x99s practice including an interventional program that does complex PCI and structural heart interventions; electrophysiology program (ablations, devices); advanced heart failure/MCS/cardiac transplantation; and programs in preventive cardiology, ACHD, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, cardio-oncology, hypertension, pulmonary hypertension, sports medicine, cardiac sarcoid, and womenxe2x80x99s heart health, amongst others.
