Together we are empowered to make an even greater impact on the health and well-being of our communities.xc2xa0ResponsibilitiesAdvanced Heart Failure Cardiologist Opportunity- Virginia Mason Franciscan Health (VMFH)xc2xa0Franciscan Medical Group, along with the Center for Cardiovascular Health at VMFH, is actively recruiting for an Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist to join our Franciscan Heart and Vascular Associates group and the advanced heart failure team.xc2xa0 This position is located in Tacoma, Washington and will be part of the Franciscan Medical Group multi-specialty practice serving the greater South Puget Sound region of Washington State.xc2xa0xc2xa0The Center for Cardiovascular Healthxc2xa0at VMFH encompasses over 150 providers,xc2xa0including interventional cardiologists, electrophysiologists, advanced heart failure specialists, cardiac imaging specialists, vascular surgeons, thoracic surgeons, cardiac surgeons and cardiac anesthesiologists.xc2xa0xc2xa0Our programs have achieved significant recognition within the region and nationally for our quality and outcomes. We are a high volume program performing over 1100 open heart surgeries, 2400 PCIs and 2000 ablations annually.xc2xa0xc2xa0We provide care for over 200,000 patients in our cardiology clinics annually and provide inpatient services for our healthcare system that includes over 1500 beds and 3 tertiary care hospitals in the Greater Seattle Area.Clinical Responsibilities:Maintains an active Advanced Heart Failure practice and is Boarded in Heart FailureInpatient rounding of advanced heart failure service at VMFH regional level, including tertiary medical centers in the regionCaring for patients with mechanical circulatory devices, ECMO, and pulmonary hypertension.xc2xa0Other Responsibilities:Works collaboratively with service line leadership and appropriate committees for policy and program developmentReviews quality data with Heart Center Data Team monthly and prior to any registry submissionHelp Develop advanced heart failure outreach programsParticipates in service line physician and provider recruitmentActive involvement in CV Fellows and Internal Medicine Housestaff educationxc2xa0xc2xa0QualificationsRequirements:Minimum of 5 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in Advanced Heart Failure leadership preferred but recent graduates will be consideredWashington State Medical License prior to start dateBoard Certificationxc2xa0(ABIM)xc2xa0All employees are expected to demonstrate and support our system’s Values which include:CompassionCare with listening, empathy and love.Accompany and comfort those in need of healing.InclusionCelebrate each personxe2x80x99s gifts and voice.Respect the dignity of all.IntegrityInspire trust through honesty.Demonstrate courage in the face of inequity.ExcellenceServe with fullest passion, creativity and stewardship.Exceed expectations of others and ourselves.CollaborationCommit to the power of working together.Build and nurture meaningful relationships.xc2xa0Pay Range$202.34-$297.72/hour
